Kellie Stoddart |
about the chef ...
At the age of 8 years old, Chef Michael's family moved from Camden,
New Jersey to Murray, Kentucky, where Michael graduated from high school.
After graduation, Michael's interest led him to the Culinary Institute
of America, in Hyde Park, New York.
Experienced in all aspects of culinary management and production;
Michael has become an articulate, award winning, culinary professional.
He has been recognized in the Lexington community as the "Ice Man" for
his many talented ice sculptures.
Michael and Kellie always dreamed of having their own catering company. After years of working for other caterers, an opportunity presented itself in 1998 to purchase an existing company named, "The Kitchen at Chevy Chase". The business grew quickly under the new ownership of Michael and Kellie and within a year the business was so successful that they were forced to find an additional location for their catering company. After relocating to their present location, 333 North Ashland Avenue in March 2000, they renamed the business "Seasons Catering & Special Occasions" and expanded their services with an events division, on site bridal consultant, all occasion invitations and floral design. |
